Missed a connection in Caltrain Bike Car - m4m ( between redwood city and Menlo Park stations)
ON Wednesday May 19th, 2010, on the 8:40 PM train heading South and reaching the Redwood City station, I was packing up to exit the train at the next stop, Menlo Park, when two young men boarded the Bike car at Redwood City or possibly the stop just before Redwood City, One of the young men greeted me as he hooked up his bike and then continued his conversation with the other young man he boarded the train with, after I said hi as I continued to ready myself to exit at the Menlo Park station, coming up next. This young man was asking the other guy, where exactly in S.F. he lived; the guy he was talking too, said, "On Valencia Street. Where about? The other young man asked, telling the other guy, his cousin lives on Valencia, near a restaurant that he had eaten at with his boyfriend. The two young men continued talking. taking seats in the back of the bike car, as I waited to exit; they talked about finding a good yoga teacher, etc. as I waited for the Caltrain to reach my stop, I had the impulse to connect with the young man who had greeted me and to let him know that I knew of one of the best yoga teachers in his area, since it seemed he lived down on the pen. as I did now and also where this Yoga teacher teaches; I also wanted to share a project that I have been working on that I felt he might be interested in and put him in touch with some things I heard him express interest in; but my station stop arrived before I could engage him in conversation and I exited only to glance up into the train car to see him glancing directly back at me, with both of us realizing a connection was missed and I am hoping with all my heart I might be given another chance to connect with this beautiful young brother, who greeted me so open heartedly on that Caltrain heading South that evening. The young white man, whose cousin lives in SF and said HI to me on the train that night in the bike-car, who said a friendly hello to his African-American brother; who would like the chance to interact with this young brother further and share some brotherhood and life experience with this beautiful and bright light of human consciousness that I can't regret not having connected with, when I had that chance that Wed. evening on that train and as of yet, have not crossed paths as yet again. If by some chance you should happen to read this and remember or brief but essential connection in passing as I looked at you once again through the window of the train while on the Menlo Park station platform, as the train pulled off, please contact me; I have so much I want to share and have hoped to run into you almost everywhere! But alas, if this is not to ever be, I wish you well in any case, you've already deeply touched my heart and I wish you happiness, brotherhood and much love and light within your life and I will always hope we meet again, in the mudra of the friend and next time I will make a connection that won't be missed, that will grow into a bond of brotherhood and friendship, for I felt you as a very old soul that I knew within another life, young man and I really hope to see you some day, some place, once again and/or on the train.
I hope this gives me a chance to reconnect with this most interesting handsome and essentially spirited young brother towhom I felt a kindred spirit and brotherhood of connection; in any case young man, I wish you much love, light, health, wealth, truth and happiness.
